Micheal, I really appreciate your lovely variety of cool color! I love your use of abstract shapes and large value planes, and love your treatment of the painting using symbols of trees, bushes, and windows. This is such a nice painting! I see it is newly posted and am very honored to be the first to add my thoughts. v/fav

Artist's Description

In this painting I wanted to express the inner emotions of being removed from the lives of the most loved and important two people in the world .To those I'll leave a light burning to signal that their return is awaited and prayed for.The A Turbulent, frightening time in my life made way for this expression I used blue tones to help signify the coldness of the outside world , the home is a symbol of heritage and stability,A strong reminder of timeless strength and security Home is refuge from the cruel elements. Its evening and night is falling, its time to be home with family where its warm and safe. One of my favorite painting tricks is offering the suggestion of warmth in a very pervasive cool setting . I hope you enjoy it
